I Love You...I'll Kill You This will probably end up being the blog from hell. I'm just warning you!
First things first, the Trigun character selector : # 1 Nicholas D. Wolfwood
# 2 Vash the Stampede
# 3 Milly Thompson
# 4 Rem Saverem
# 5 Dad Nebraska
# 6 Legato Bluesummers
# 7 Brilliant Dynamites Neon
# 8 Mom Nebraska
# 9 Kuroneko-Sama
# 10 Midvally the Hornfreak
# 11 Millions Knives
# 12 Meryl Stryfe
*kusu* There's justice in the world! Oh, my Wolfwood figure was shipping; it should be here soon. *_* ka-chan, ( I was about to type in 'kachan.pitas.com' XD ) I'm afraid I definitely fall into that category of shameless drooling nicky fangirl. Although I need my damn VCDs to arrive so I can make an 'educated' opinion as to whether the hotness overwhelms the craziness in Legachu XD
And now for the CCS Character quiz. I coulda SWORN I took this before... # 1 Eriol Hiiragizawa
# 2 Kero-chan
# 3 Syaoran Li
# 4 Tomoyo Daidouji
# 5 Sakura Kinomoto
# 6 Touya Kinomoto
# 7 Yukito Tsukishiro I'm not complaining, but how the hell did THAT happen? O_o XD
Whoops o.o I just gave myself a cm-long cut with a sharp knife while peeling an onion - right at the side of the place between my thumb and forefinger...and the damn thing won't stop bleeding O_o I've gone through three bandaids already. Dammit, stop gushing! It's not that big a cut, stop bleeding like it is!
And now for the RK Women: # 1 Takani Megumi
# 2 Makimachi Misao
# 3 Misanagi Moriya
# 4 Sekihara Tae
# 5 Shuura
# 6 Komagata Yumi
# 7 Yukishiro Tomoe
# 8 Kamiya Kaoru
# 9 Katsu Itsuko
# 10 Sanjou Tsubame
# 11 Mutou Sayo
Okay, I'm loud, and I'm a decent cook. Fair enough. ;;^^
I don't particularly like Kaoru; she falls way too easily into the helpless ' KENSHEEEN! SAVE ME!!!' mode which just annoys the hell out of me because in the beginning she acted like the trained swordsmistress she supposedly is :P And the WeiB one.
# 1 Tsukiyono Omi
# 2 Manx
# 3 Brad Crawford
# 4 Farfarello
# 5 Schuldich
# 6 Fujimiya Aya/Ran
# 7 Hell
# 8 Kudou Yohji
# 9 Naoe Nagi
# 10 Hidaka Ken
# 11 Neu
# 12 Persia
# 13 Schoen
# 14 Toto Damn, how did I get so many of the Schwarz so high on my list? O_o Interesting; I didn't know all these other WeiB names. FYI: 'Neu' = new, Schoen = 'pretty', 'Toto' = 'Tod' = 'death', etc etc ^^ Any other character selectors before I get to the real beef of my blog, so to speak?
chi: sounds like you've been having a sucky time recently. ( understatement of the year, eh? ) *skwishies* Now remember, you're my flompie-cat! Ganbatte! The new year's coming up; things can only get better.
And wufie - *skwishie* I know how it is when your parents can shoot your mood straight to hell. Mine do that on a regular basis. ;;^^ Everyone needs a flompie, it seems! *FLOMPIE*
Okay, now to the bitchy part of my blog... This Friday I had an interview at Vanderbilt Med School in Nashville, TN. That's a solid 5-6 hour drive from where I live. Fine, no problem. Of course, factor in the winter storms...but our drive on Thursday was fine. I tellya, hills are still a novelty to me, since I was raised in central IL XD We decided to stay with an old friend of my mom's, since I hadn't seen her in about 10 years and it was only courteous to drop by. So we drive there.
When I step inside the front door, I instantly know this is a mistake. Have you all read 'Great Expectations', or, I guess, seen the movie? You know Miss Havisham, the woman who was ditched at the altar and essentially went nuts and made her house a museum, almost? This woman is *exactly* like that. Her house is so big, and SO cluttered, you have to hop over things and inch around them to avoid stepping on or knocking something over. She lives alone, on top of this hill in Nashville, with seven dogs, five or six cats, and several tanks of fish. Her entire house is overflowing with plants - like mine, only hella worse. She has humidifiers and space heaters and all that everywhere for the convenience of the dogs and cats, and she heats the floors in several rooms so the dogs don't get cold feet. She's had additions built onto her house to house her enormous, lush plants, but it's like wading through a tropical jungle, seriously. Those who have been in my house: there are a hell of a lot of plants, but they are shoved out of the way as necessary. This house scared me.
Did I mention the Barbies? Oh yes. She was an obssessive-compulsive Barbie collector. I did not KNOW there were this many different types of Barbies in the world, but she collected them. In the room I slept, I made a point of counting, and there were FIFTY-SEVEN blandly smiling dolls, all in their boxes, staring at me while I slept. If I had to guess, I'd say she had almost five hundred Barbie dolls.
We brought her a curry plant, and when I sat down across from her in the only chairs in the house that weren't completely covered with things, she said, " Thanks for coming!" and I, bemused, said, " Thanks for having us," and she replied, ' Oh, no, I was welcoming the plant.' ;;^^
Oh right, the TV's! She had more than one of everything. She had this room with - lemme remember - nine TV's, and seven working VCRs. Four tape rewinders. And all four walls were COVERED with bookshelves filled with unmarked videos. She had three fridges, and the floors were covered with spilled dog food half the time. And THE DAMN GARDEN GNOMES ALL OVER INSIDE THE HOUSE!
Now, I'm not an allergic person when it comes to pets, per se. I've never had a problem with one dog, or two, or even three. Same with cats. But a total of thirteen or so cats and dogs did a number on my nose and eyes.
She has this messed up lifestory; she's very lonely, never married, no kids, and it's kinda sad. But it was still hella scary! We ended up spending two nights there and I was ever so allergic. Well, my interview went well, and that night we DID end up going to the Opryland Hotel for dinner. Had an excellent steak, and then we toured around. They have a nice Xmas light-displau going, and the inside of the hotel has this - this - JUNGLE inside it, with 100-foot tall plants and waterfalls and a small river - it took an HOUR to walk through it all. The Opryland Hotel is actually kinda cool to visit during the holiday season.
Oh, so that was my weekend. We had all these reports of a horrible winter storm coming, and we had a 6-hour drive home, so this morning we started driving at 8:30 am and got home at around 2:30pm. The weather was fine except right at Nashville, which had this torrential downpour and thunderstorm. Thank god it's all over. *_*
New Year's...ugh. Dangit, can't none of y'all besides me kick your parents out? ^.- ( And yes, they all speak funny in TN! XD )
Anyways, gonna watch SNL. Ja--n!

Droplets of 'yes' and 'no' in an ocean of 'maybe'
So the election is over. Fuck. Oh well, what to do. I'm too tired to care anymore; two finals and a heavy snowstorm to drive to said finals in tend to sap one's will to live. But my finals are over.
Sorry, niisan - that blog you referred me to is in Dutch. I can read German and Danish, and Dutch is somewhat related, but I can't read that. ;;^^ Does seem pretty interesting, though - I like a lot of the bands the blogger mentions *_*
I have an interview on Friday in Nashville, so tomorrow we get to have a lovely 6-7 hour drive ( on GOOD roads, that is, not on 6-inches-of-snow roads ) down there. I hope to be back Friday night; I want to unwind at HOME for a while after finals.
I am SO exhausted. It's ridiculous.
krisit - I was just thinking today, jeez, I hope kristi doesn't have to work today; all that snow and no car! >_< Gomen ne, krisit!
Re: New Year's party. Let's say this. If weather's decent, and we can arrange carpools down from Chi-town, let's have this at my place, eh? Greg's offered his place, but considering all the pr0n involved...*kusu* But if Greg's place up in Chicago is more convenient, I'll hitch a ride up with Cat, if that's okay. Juri-nyu, can you ask Cat if that's all right with her?
And it's always good to know that I'm in circles where 'sick bitch' is a compliment of the highest magnitude. n_n I took the RK Character selector and all I can say is, 'Oh Shit.' XD
# 1 Shishio Makoto

# 3 Jin-e
# 4 Himura Kenshin

# 8 Hiko Seijurou
# 9 Shinomori Aoshi
# 10 Sagara Sanosuke
Dear me. XD
wufie : I don't know Bran all that well, but I know enough to be able to agree that he changes his opinions as fast as the apocryphal 'they' do. So if 'they' say something is hella l4m3, so will he. :P
xio : sankyuuuuu *_* Although Eriol skiing scares me. " Clow Masters on Ice!"
gregly and jurinyu - Ganbatte! Finals will be done soon, and then we can all party and stuff. Central-IL-gumi! Wai!
I REALLY need to sleep. I am so goddamn tired.
Now Playing: Cherry Poppin' Daddies - Here Comes the Snake ( which everyone should listen to at least once in their lifetime. It gets stuck in your head like nothing else. I can only imagine how fun it would be to dance to.)

If you must choose between two evils, pick the one you've never tried before.
Yes, quite. ;;^^
I've gotten a solid...mmm...26 hours of sleep this weekend. Looks like my swinging academic lifestyle has finally caught up with me. I meant to stay up last night, but once I hit the bed, I was asleep in no time. ;;^^ Gomen ne, minna! Hell, I only woke up 45 minutes ago. ;;^^
Y'know, I love my parents - sometimes - but they drive me nuts. They're complaining about my 'sulkiness and lack of concentration' ( no shit, sherlock, that's why I'm on antidepressants now! To fix that! ) and in general act like I'm one second away from flunking out of college and only constant supervision on their part has kept me from heading for the streets. It's tiresome. But I guess I understand that they're just being worried about me in a smothery sort of way.
On the upside, my parents want to know if they can set up some DDR at my graduation party. XD Rock on. Y'all are invited. May 20th! Mark your damn calendars!
Krisit - instead of a vacation for my XMas present, could you get me a tattoo instead? XD My cash is tied up until April - and I bet they'd LOVE to know what I intended to spend it upon. XD On another note, krisit, what would you like for XMas yourself? Instead of a present, I was thinking, since Ishida-kun needs repairs and shiznit, you want cash for your services instead? Remember, at a nickel apiece, you're going to be busy for some time XD But if you'd prefer a present, lemme know - I just thought I'd contribute towards getting you off of streetcorners instead. O_O
oneesama - whaaat, you expect innovation and realism in pr0n? XD It's *fapfap* material XD And besides, if the audience could actually get involved in a real BDSM situation where safewords were necessary, they wouldn't be sitting at home *fapfap*'ing to Cool Devices. ^^
Just danced 3 Paranoia versions - man, I still SUCK at those o.o
I'm going to eat lunch now - expect more not-so-deep thoughts later. n_n
Now Playing: T. Rex - Jeepster ( deshi! listen to more T. Rex! O_O I command it! )

KOROSU!!!!!!!! BUCH KOROSU!
Ah, I am filled with cute and cuddly rage again.
Exhibit one: Successor of Razor Edge - my page of Orphen artbook scans. It's 120 pages, and I scanned in most of the book at a public lab. I don't have my own scanner. See the nice bright red policy on using those scans on the page? Legible, right? Clear, right? " These artbook images are for personal use only. Namely, feel free to download them onto your own computer, but PLEASE DON'T USE THEM ON YOUR OWN PAGES. The anime images in the rest of the gallery are public use, but I'd like to keep these artbook scans unique to this site." Exhibit two: Sondemotte Kiss . In particular, check out the image gallery. I actually got here when I noticed that some of the buttons for the site on the webmaster's blog used artbook images. I was like, huh, maybe they have the artbook too...or at least they better...and then I looked at the site and veinthrobbed. They say that all the images are taken from the net a long time ago and they don't know where from. And there's no links page to give any possible credit.
Now, this really pisses me off simply because I have a LOT of sites, and this is just about the only thing on all of my sites that I tell people NOT TO USE! I don't have a scanner, I had to scan in almost 120 pages in a public lab, IT TOOK A LONG TIME, DAMMIT! And for a year and a half I've had a bright red warning on the main page of the artbook scans asking people not to use the scans. A year and a half. If I hadn't had a warning up at all, I wouldn't be so pissed off. But dammit, is red too subtle a color for a warning? I just want some courtesy from the webmaster here. ._.# I've got to email the webmaster in the morning when I'm less tired and likely to try to tear him a new one. That's all I wanted to say. ._. Oh, and I let the owner of the other site he borrowed pictures from know. She can deal with that as she wishes. Now Playing: nine inch nails - The Big Comedown ( read the nin fics on fanfiction.net! The bowie fics are also good for a giggle. XD )

o/~ ' You only hurt the one you love'...that may be true, but better said ' You only hurt the one who loves you'... o/~
Ah, what a week. Thank god it's over! *_* I indeed had my Washington University Medical School interview on Thursday - now I'm crossing my fingers. I'm hopehopehoping that they'll admit me. *_* Vanderbilt interview on the 15th, and finals before that. God, this semester has sux0red so hardcore. My sleep schedule is so messed up now. I went to bed at 8 pm, and woke up at 1:30 am. So here I am o.o
Yeah, I've looked over the idiotic rants on this page - and all I can say is that they're the thoughts of a self-righteous, self-contradicting person whose life may be bad but who has made victimhood into an art form. And I seriously fear any medical student who uses 'chromozones' [sic] to 'explain why people are gay.' What medical school does she supposedly go to, and how can I avoid it? They obviously are doing a shitty job teaching her. ;;^^ And I don't know what to say about a person who rates their personal misery so highly above that of others to the point of saying that everyone else is just 'attention-seeking' whereas the webmaster is the only person who is truly unhappy. :P Grow up, little girl. " Vos vestros servate, meos mihi linquite mores, " * as Petrarch said. :P
New layout, I guess! Since my blog is titled 'basic black' I hafta stick with a certain color scheme. ^.- Say what you will about Bastard!!, but the bishounen are top-notch. *_*
Oh, I took thespark.com 's tests! Turns out I'm 46% slutty ( more than oneesama?! how the hell does THAT work? ) and 55% bitch, which is in the 90th percentile of worldwide bitchiness. ;;^^ I'm going to sleep with 6 people in my lifetime, 2 female, 4 male, and I'll love two of them. O_o And that was probably way more information about me than you needed to know, right?
Re: The New Year's Party - my house is always open, and since I'm kicking my parents out, we could have out happy H-anime-fest there. ( juri-nyu can't watch pr0n with her parents around in her house up in Chi-town. ) If it's too inconvenient for everyone to come down here, we can relocate up to Chi-town; we just need a place to stay, and a source of smutty fun. C-U actually HAS a large anime selection and probably all the H-anime released so far.
To those of you who are reading this and becoming deeply disturbed at what we're discussing...uh...it's all good clean fun! Yeah! XD Anyone who can make it is invited as far as I'm concerned. It'll be like a blog-gumi party! ^_^
Oh, which reminds me - it'd be fun if, over Winter Break, the JAC-gumi had a DDR party. Greg! Speak to the JAC officers and MAKE IT SO! ( Although they're probably all going home over break...foo! ) I passed my first 7-foot song today - it was Luv to Me in Another. Yay me o.o
It was very strange for me to realize that this is my last year in Urbana. @_@ I'm actually *graduating* in six months from *college*. And I'll actually turn 20 and leave my not-so-carefree teenage years behind. >_< Oh, apparently my parents reserved the Urbana Civic Center for May 20, 2001 ( or the Sunday of a week after ACen ) for my graduation party. @_@ Well, if anyone wants to come, lemme know and you're invited. Free Indian food, I'd bet!
Gotta buy Christmas presents soon. ( Yes, I'm lazy. o.o ) And I can't think of anything to say.
Now Playing: Digital Underground - The Odd Couple XD * You keep to your own ways and leave mine to me

o/~ We're going to look real good Yeah right We're gonna dress so fine Okay! o/~
Amazing how much better the world seems when you grab a four-hour nap. It's incredible. I'm less cranky, but now I'm left with this craving for peanut-butter M&M's. I want some. Now. It's gonna be an all-nighter, yep.
It's very cold outside; even the air is really cold. So I curled up in a fetal position in my bed, pulled the blanket over my head, and resisted all attempts of the outside world to impinge upon my consciousness for a solid four hours. Right now I'm blogging in the hope that ignoring my o-chem exam will make it go away. So far it hasn't worked. ;_;
Ka-chan , Kya-chan - GMTA! Yesterday I was thinking, ' Man, now that I've watched that, I want to make reviews for hentai anime on my site. That would be hella funny.' I vote for New Year's we rent a stack of pr0n and heckle it mercilessly. That's what it's for, right? And yeah, watching H-anime with the expectation that it will be non-sexist and inoffensive is stupid. ;;^^ And if the HenTai Kyoudai need help handling the sea of H-anime out there, I'm offering to help XD
Oh, I found out what Roger was saying to Doroshii. Thanks, niisan! Something like this:
Roger: How many times do I have to tell you, it's pointless to act that way if it's just mimicry.
Roger: Why do you play the Blues all the time?
Dorothy: It's just how I am. :P
Dorothy: I'm trying to understand the mood of the times. (???)
Roger: Mood? .......fine. @_@
And niisan, watch it with those slips of the tongue! XD
I had better study now. But I'll be on IRC if y'wanna talk to me. I'm easy to distract. ^_^
Now Playing: Joga - Dam Dariram

Another day, another blog! First of all, greg got a blog. Yay greg! Now you can join the blog-gumi and IRC and blog at each other simultaneously. It's like how people sit in computer labs next to their friends and IM them. ^_^
Now let's see. I just realized I'm already dressed to fit into Roger Smith's household! Yay! FYI, I uploaded caps of episode 3 of the Big-O. Enjoy. Or something. This is one of the eps I missed the sub of, which I now regret; I really wonder what Roger and Dorothy are talking about in the last 30 seconds. Dorothy is playing some kind of jazz rag on the piano, and really getting into it, swaying with the music, and then Roger comes in and says something, and she straightens up and plays more like a robot is supposed to, and gives him this Look(tm). He says something else, and she replies flatly, and then it turns out that Angel's business card is torn up in the trash. What's up with that, Juri, do you remember at all?
Just DDR'd some and rescheduled my appointment with the shrink. krisit - I'm glad the Celexa's kicked in for you. Doesn't it feel fucking wodnerful to feel good for once? I suppose it's disturbing that both webmasters of genkiland are on antidepressants, huh?
Oh, Kya-chan, Ka-chan, now Juri-ho is pondering making the New Year's bash up in Chicagoland. When we finalize things more ( which had better be SOON ) we'll blog and let you know, okay? And if #yaoshi is +i when you try to get in, try /msg'ing 'RD' or 'Oruha' ( me or Juri ) and we'll let you in.
Very tired. Have an exam tomorrow. So this will be a tiny blog-snippet.
Want a very very WRONG fic to read? Try this one. Words fail me.
