    W00TAGE!!!

Point one: Krisit, I'll be in Ann Arbor all this weekend. Sooooooorry ;_; Didn't know it myself until, like, yesterday.

Point two: Tenjou Tenge r0x0rZ. Been reading it carefully to understand as much as I can :D

Point three: Got my Bebop Movie OST and mini-album. Will post mp3s when I get back. The bonus first-pressing Cowgirl ED OST disk has unreleased music from the TV series, and the hidden track 18 on the movie OST is the version of 'Rain' sung in the TV series, with Yamane Mai on vocals. XD

    W00t4g3!

KYA!! HAVE FUN IN JAPAN! WRITE ME AS SOON AS YOU GET THERE! O_O

" Well, Puu, we all have things we're good at..."

Let's just say last night was fun. n_n Kya-chan came for one last visit before she goes to Japan on her exchange thing. Damn lucky bitch T_T But she came bearing goodies; Tenjou Tenge #3-4, a K' keychain, and an Iori idol card. After I was done salivating, we sat and talked - well, I think I shoved doujinshi at her. " READ! O_O " Poor abused Kya. But after we went out - which involved picking up a pizza, booze, and stopping by my house for a fascinating 15-minute look into interpersonal dynamics in my family @_@, we went back...and the fun started. XD ( Kya had to tell me not to Blood Riot outside of my own house, that's how tense it made me to go there @_@ )

Well, anyways, Kya bought a 12-pack of Mike's hard lemonade and a bottle of Captain Morgan's....and we got home at 8 or something....by 1 am, all that was left was a third of the bottle of Captain Morgan's. I had five Mike's, she had seven, but by that point the conversation had progressed to the deep serious shit that kind of requires you to be drunk to even talk about it. ;;^_^ Oh, and we put on the Gluhen tour XD which, if you've seen, also requires that you be drunk or a 13-year-old Japanese fangirl. Then we watched the first 2 episodes of Himikoden on fast-forward, mostly to say 'w00t!' when Ohgureito-sensei's name appeared as 'character designer.' ( He draws Tenjou Tenge, which I like, y'know. )

Then I had the brilliant(?) idea that Kya hadn't ever seen the episodes of Fushigi Yuugi in which Tasuki was introduced. Kya has something of a Kansai-ben fetish, so I figured Tasuki would be right up her alley. This led to much, MUCH drunken karaoke. We couldn't resist singing the OP and ED, since I had my old Tomodachi fansubs. Don't ever ask us to sing when we're drunk. Or when we're sober, too, but it's worse than usual when we're drunk.

Then we had another brilliant idea and we got online. Unfortunately, we were unable to execute our cunning plan - which can't be repeated now, because, in the nature of drunken plans, it doesn't make SENSE when you're sober. Anyways, we bothered people on IRC, giglging madly the entire time, until I blearily looked at the clock and realixed it was 2:30, and I had to be at work at 7:30. We both collapsed into bed, I woke up, and got to work on time, quite sober.

Well, I had a slight headache, and felt a little queasy, but I was grinning. I was a genki tired hungover wench at work, because I basically thought, " I feel a little lousy, but I DESERVED it, and I had FUN doing it."

I was so tired, though, and thankfully my choice in CDs was fortuitous. Morphine is soothing to a hungover head...it's like soaking your brain in lukewarm water and massaging it gently. Hanging From A Curtain is a good example...it was nice to poor hungover Puu. Listen to it, and try to imagine me hunched at my desk, a desk lamp on, trying to write up memos.

Today was the last day to ship shit from one of our initiatives, so it was fucking insane. The last day of a deadline is just going to be crazy. I got there at 7:30, intended to leave at 4. At 4, I intended to leave at 4:30. At 4:30 I intended to leave at 5, and at 5:30 I just dropped what I was doing and ran screaming for the door. That time I actually escaped.

I'm going to read my Tenjou Tenge and sparkle. My Japanese is self-taught and therefore sucks, but I at least put effort into it. :D

Man, that's a nasty thunderstorm heading my way. The sky's black and silver, and the light's gone all strange, that kind of sickly yellowish-grey that you always get before a bad storm. Here's a good rainstorm song: La Femme D'Argent, by those wacky boys in Air. If you haven't listened to their Moon Safari CD, j00 needs oWnZing.
