Yes, I'm ashamed of myself. :D It's been one of those weeks. Psych exam on Wednesday, take-home exam given Tuesday, due Friday, an exam this coming Monday ( Chem 391 - New Drug Synthesis. Awesome, fascinating class, but a BITCH to memorize. Drug names! augh! ) and, of course, that means that this weekend's the weekend where I have to go to Chicago for my sister's birthday party and a wedding. Yay. I mean to blog more often, but somehow...you know, real life and all that. re: what several people's blog have been talking about, all mish-mashed together because I'm tired and I can't remember who said what. ;^_^ Yeah, I've noticed that a lot of bloggers seem to blog perpetually about depressing things. *coughGUILTYcough* Wait, I'm taking Latin, so that would be 'mea culpa', right? Anyways, yeah. A weblog's a diary of sorts - a public one, yes, but still, it's sort of where people put their thoughts down. For me, there's a limited number of things in my life I could blog about o.o My schoolwork - no, trust me, you really don't wanna hear about it in greater detail. XD Get-togethers with my friends. Well, I do mention those, and those make me chou-genki. Or, when I feel depressed and angry and miserable, which is...uh...the rest of the time. ;^_^ I'm clinically depressed, foo'! Sorry, with that range of choices, you've gotta read about me whining at least part of the time. :D I'll try not to make it too self-indulgent. I finished most of my studying for monday's exam, and now I'm gonna kill things. Diablo II - almost done with Act Three. :D My paladin's name is Sanzou, and he's remarkably good at killing things. o.o; Now only if he swore and threw things at his hired gimp. Yesterday I got together with the IL-gumi ( most of them, at least ) to watch some anime, grab dinner, and check out DDR 4th mix. It was fun, but I headed home early because I was still getting over my cold and consequently felt really tired all day. >_@ I had to grab a nap between watching anime and meeting everyone for dinner, isn't that pathetic? Shinbashi oWns me. That chibi-birdie is just too cute. *_* Right now, I'm downloading forms for financial aid. Yay! I found something cute at the end of Saiyuki volume 7 last night, in the '10 years ago' chaper. So, Gokuu's been trapped in his prison without seeing the sun for what, 490 years? And he makes friends with that bird that flies in, and he's so happy to not be alone anymore. Then one morning he wakes up and the bird's lying dead right out of his reach, and he strains through the bars, trying to touch it, and he's screaming and crying because he's all alone again, and he doesn't know how long it'll be before someone sees him again. " ........! " And somewhere, chibi-13-year-old Sanzou ( he wasn't very...uh...kawaii back then. Well, in one sense he was, but look at him. ) stands up and looks around. " I heard a voice...." ( yes, that's what he was doing when he first heard Gokuu's voice calling him in his head. o.o; ) Okay, *I* thought it was cute. XD But then again, I think the Fairy Princess is cute even when he's being really scary and psychotic. He's a bitchy grumpy jerk most of the time, but he kind of *is* directly responsible for saving the other three when they were at their lowest. O_O O________O Dude, if ANYONE knows how to get this for me off of Jahoo, I will not only love you forever, but...uh...I dunno! It's the drama CD for 'Letort', another one of Tachibana Kaim's works. It has Koyasu in it, I suspect as Utilis. :D ( FYI, she says that 'Utilis' was the character design model for Alen Koyasu, so it must be so. XD Tachibana-sensei is such a wacky seiyuu-h0 XD ) The auction ends on 3/27, so...um......tasukete onegai! ;_; And if you're a Koyasu-h0, well, here's stuff to drool at. I could buy myself SEVERAL cheap h0s with that kind of money! Yes, yes, it's been one of those weeks. ;^_^ On Tuesday I got my car towed across town. I had class in two hours, so I called up my dad. His response was to bitch me out and to tell me to get the car myself. ;^_^ It was a couple of miles away, I was no where near an appropriate busstop, and to add insult to injury, I wasn't properly dressed for the weather. ;^_^ ( I was dressed in interview-type-clothes. ;^_^ ) So I walked to the tower's place ( took about 45 minutes ) got the car, and paid the $80. Can you believe it? I ran in for five minutes! ._.# And then I promptly came down with a cold. I was sick as a dog Wednesday and Thursday, and today I'm...okay, I suppose. My bitchmobile is running on all 8 cylinders again, I guess. Today I went to lunch with Lynn. It's nice; I've seen her twice this week, and the last time I saw her before that was...uhm...uhm...a REALLY long time ago. ;^_^ On the order of months. I wish I wasn't so lazy; if people don't email me, or if they don't call me, I just drop out of touch with them out of sheer busy-ness. ( Can't think of the right word right now. ) So, anyways, we stopped at Walgreen's after lunch so she could grab some nailpolish, and a girl walking in the front door had a seizure right in the metal-detector-thing. o_o So a bunch of us pulled her inside the door while someone called 911. She was starting to foam at the mouth, so I told the lady to roll her to her side so she didn't choke. I searched her pockets and found her ID, and then we waited until the ambulance arrived. I don't know why we did; we didn't know her or anything. But I still couldn't just *leave* her there, even if I didn't know her. I've been having an blah week. Besides my cold, I've been looking for jobs. If I don't get into a med school this year :/ I'll hafta work for a year and try again. On the upshot, I'll move out anyways, but it'll still SUCK going through apps again. :/ I'm really kind of depressed about my prospects. I've been slipping on my meds, which is bad. I need to make sure I'm doped up when I have a REASON to be depressed. CLAMP IS EVIL! AUGH! Okay, I needed to get that out of my system. " Sticky!" " Throbbing!" " STICKY!" " THROBBING!" " ...can you guys please not argue about this? ;@_@" " XD " " XD " Last Friday was my 20th birthday, and Saturday was Krisit's 21st. So we got together with a bunch of people to celebrate, and it ended up lasting for four days. ^^ Those who have a low tolerance for, as Seki Tomokazu puts it, ' sukebe na hanashi', should close their eyes for this blog. XD But before all that, here's something lethally cute: THIS. May owns my SOUL for this picture. *_________* Well, the IL-gumi met up at Laura's place in Addison ( it's a suburb of Chicago o.o ) on Saturday at around noon. The plan WAS that we'd go to Mitsuwa, then to Furama's for dim sum, and then maybe back to Rence's to watch anime, but you know about the best laid plans of mice and men. The group that eventually gathered was: Krisit, me, Gregly, Juri, niisan, oneesama, ka-chan, kya-chan, Laura, Brian, E-chan-sensei, Rence, and Matt. We went to Mitsuwa, where I bought three volumes of the Basara manga ( bringing my total up to 5/27 volumes. -_- Damn you, Tamu-sensei! ) I also bought some magazines, mostly because Saiyuki is currently oWning me and I must buy magazines. :D There were some articles about the Bebop movie, though, which I'll stick on my page. Of course, a large part of the afternoon was spent DDR'ing. XD Y'know, it is REALLY hard to DDR in clogs, but I managed somehow. XD And y'all are WAY too 1337 for me in the ddr-sk1ll0rZ area. ^_^ Rence, being a total sweetheart, bought Krisit and I a cake, and we all shared it ( as well as ate at the Mitsuwa food court, of course.) We somehow managed to spend...er...four hours or so at the Mitsuwa. Since Krisit wanted to go home that night itself, we ended up not going to Rence's after all, and went back to Laura's, where we picked up everyone's stuff and then I drove home. ( niichan and oneesama were spending the weekend/week at Krisit's. ) Hm, my memory of the weekend is getting fuzzy ( I spent most of today sleeping, to make up for five days of 3-4 hours of sleep a night. :D ) so I'll see what I can remember. I KNOW that I showed onenisama the condensed version of Saiyuki season one...er...the condensed version of Haunted Junction....ALL of Basara (eg), Yami no Matsuei #1-6...Boogiepop #1-2..the condensed version of Trigun...and that's just about all the tame stuff I remember watching. I know they watched the Fatal Fury movies while I was passed out, too, and maybe some other stuff. :D Sunday night, Gregly and Juri drove down to Charleston to stay until Tuesday, and since I was technically supposed to go back home Sunday night, we all trekked up to Champaign and ate at the Courier. While Gregly-tachi went to Rentertainment to rent some stuff, Krisit and I drove to my house and talked them into letting me stay until Tuesday night, when oneesama was flying home. So then we met up with them at Rentertainment, where we ended up renting 9 tapes. Let's see, what were they? Kekko Kamen volumes 1-2...Cool Devices volume 1...Miyuki-chan in Wonderland...Tenki no oneesan ( right? Weather Report Girl? )...'Sailor and the 7 Ballz' ( which I will describe in horrific detail in a second XD ) and...er..dammit, there were nine tapes, what were they? Vampire Hunter D...grar, i can't remember the last two. Well, you get the general idea. XD Then we went back and started watching stuff. ( I remember watching Basara while the GreglyJuri were there, so prolly that first. ) You know...Sailor and the 7 Ballz has got to take the cake as the most...most...mind-melting piece of H anime I have EVER seen. Here's the basic premise. Usagi and Mamoru ( although no one's ever named out loud in the show...maybe just to save their ass from a libel lawsuit or something. ) are getting married. So they send out invitations to the Evangelion-gumi, the Dragonball-gumi, the rest of the inner senshi, the Ranma-gumi, and just about every other famous anime character. And they arrive, and orgies/fapfests ensue. The bad thing about it is that the artwork's animated at around...uh....2-3 frames/sec, and it's just...just really WRONG. XD The soundtrack had random clips from american movies/music ( like "I'm Too Sexy" and, scarily enough, a clip from the Blair Witch Project, y'know, Heather's famous monologue ) but the BGM was MIDI music. O_@ Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. And oh, BTW, one of the Dragonballs has the ability to make women grow dicks. The random wrong things I remember from this show:
The fact that everyone would go 'I'm so embarrassed~~~!" at random parts. @_o Usagi's easy-access wedding dress. Mamoru's cheez-whiz'ing all over the monitors in his 'special' video room. Usagi carrying a spanner with her to shower. The fact that Usagi and Mamoru are just about the only two who have NOT screwed like weasels already. The animation, or lack thereof. Using that damn remote as a dildo. The sound effects. " Oh...YEAH! You make me RANDY!" The ending. Essentially, the animators got bored, and faded ( or fapped ) to white in the middle of a scene. o.o The fact that someone must have made MONEY off of this. It came to AMERICA. Blah. More later.
